FCC & CSA

FCC certification for EMC compliance differs from the requirements for the rest of the world.

These are covered in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR 47) most items com under Part 15. The EMC compliance requirements of the USA and Canada are similar but are not interchangeable.

Although the testing required is identical in most instances, formal approval by each country is required for each product.

Both testing and certification can be carried out prior to the product being exported and may be performed in Australia.

EMC Services will:

• advise on the requirements for FCC approval of your product,
• carry out all necessary testing for FCC approval,
• provide engineering and administrative help to achieve certification,
• ensure the minimum cost route to certification for both the USA and Canada.
